The Creative Living Center

Resource Lending Library

Through very generous grants from the Delaware Area Council for Older Adults and the Delaware County Board of Developmental Disabilities we are pleased to present to all of Ohio the Creative Living Center.
This Show room of accessible modifications will open early 2005 and will be available for anyone to come in, bring your family member, contractor or physical therapist, and demonstrate an Environmental Modification. Try the stair lift, the accessible kitchen and bathroom, doorways, ramps are all here for you to try, to learn and to promote the need for accessibility.
We have built a 900 square foot showroom full of items for you to try. We have made our new office space and warehouse completely accessible and invite you in to see what is possible.
Along with the Center is a resource lending Library. We accept used equipment such as wheelchairs, lifts, toys, bath chairs, etc. We clean them up and as people need them they are able to borrow them at no fee. When you're done, bring it back and we'll get it out to someone else who needs it. We've all known someone who had grandmas old wheelchair in the garage and don't know what to do with it. We know what to do with it. Our hope in the future is for you to be able to check right here on our website to see what is available and check items in and out on line.
